Get Organised

Posted by

Someone asked me recently about Bikerax and how it came about, so here's our story.  Last year after a long stint in the corporate world I was made redundant and after a couple of drinks with some friends we decided to design something to keep busy between jobs.  Little did we see our Bikerax being a popular piece of furniture and so our story continued.

Bikes for me is an item on the agenda which is close to my heart.  Firstly I love to be organised and secondly we have a lot of bikes.  Initially I was thinking about the garage but the design had to be functional, flat pack and attractive. A bike stand being attractive may be strange to some of you but I know there are a lot of serious bike riding nuts out there who would love to keep their bike inside, and this is the perfect solution.  For the wives of the cycling world this is your ultimate bike stand as it's not clunky and built of hard mental, it's wood a sustainable, eco friendly piece of equipment which could pass as furniture.  It's made to a) be functional b) look great c) accommodate all climates inside or out of the house with some overhead over.

We recently launched the capability of holding kids and BMX bikes so if you are like me and kept your childhood BMX you can keep it neat and tidy in your Bikerax.  Bikerax originally came with three holes but as requests came flowing in we've been redesigning our bikerax to fit with our customer needs.   The MaxRax is for five bikes and was designed as a compact version of the TriRax but to squeeze into smaller spaces and fit more bikes.  The Black MidRax is for the ultra sexy design cyclist, it is not only extremely functional but looks very slick.

We hope you love your Bikerax as much as we love love it!
